The Best Music in the Past Five Years

I want you to list the band/artist that in your humble opinion is responsible for the best music that has been put out over the last five years. It doesn't have to be obscure. We're open to hipsters and top 40 radio listerners alike. If you think the answer is Lady Gaga, then by all means post Lady Gaga.

Of course the answer is not Lady Gaga, at least not in my opinion. But if that's your opinion, then post it. I won't say that you suck, I'll just hope that the next poster posts a band that maybe I'm not that familiar with, and that maybe I'll like. And if the next poster does that, then this thread is a winner in my book. Y'all ready?

If you aren't familiar with PP, then on first listen your ears may holler back at you with a "this sounds sort of weird, what's going on with this?" If so, keep listening. I introduced this band to my sister in law several years ago, and after lying to me twice that she had never gotten a chance to hear it when in fact she had listened to it and didn't like it, I one day look at her facebook profile page to see where she's posted "I have a passion for Passion Pit". Better late than never.
