I've done the bluegrass festival but never Blues & Brews. A friend of mine has and he said it can get pretty cold that late in the year. I can believe it because I damn near froze at bluegrass, which is right around the 1st day of summer. Telluride is a great little town and from what I hear it's an awesome festival. I know that bluegrass is amazing so B&B should be right up there too.

That yurt is Luxury accommodations compared to the tent I was in.

Those yurts look awesome. Where are they located though? You might want to think about staying somewhere close to town park so you can come and go from the festival easily.

The map below shows that the glamping area is right by the entrance to the main stage. So coming and going should be even easier than if you were camping in town park.

Edit: Click me The glamping area is the oval field to the left of the baseball diamond.

Oh wow. I didn't know the yurts were IN town park. Thought they might have been somewhere right outside of town.

I'll tell you the only part of that experience that I didn't enjoy was at dawn (which comes way too early during the summer solstice) they would come and flush out all the porta-potties. The stench would wake you up if the noise didn't. Also, pro tip: bring your own terlet paper.

I'm not into the jam/EDM scene like a lot of baws on here, but this Pretty Lights video in Telluride makes me want to travel to some of these western venues, do drugs, and get loose.

Is that the regular campground or the glamping section?

That was in the regular campground but I can't imagine it makes much difference.
