For those of you who see the name The Levee and instantly say frick that...I don't blame you bc of the past. It's new ownership now, and they have done a lot with the place. It's a big and nice bar in Tigerland which is rare at times 
I went last Thursday and I had a great time! The change of ownership and layout have put a breath of fresh air in that place! So if you can make it out this Friday...Go you won't regret it! Tickets $15 now and $25 at the door.

Niether. I just know the new owner personally..he's a good guy and is trying to do new stuff and get the bar back to the Shady's days with less bullshite and ratchetness

Hasn't keeping the trash out been an issue for the previous owners/bars in this location? This will help set the precedent for the type of crowd that frequents the levee
