I didn't get to see as many acts as I would have liked, but a couple impressed me a whole lot:

Har Mar Superstar
This band probably impressed me the most. Their latest album in 2013 is a bit of a throwback to Soul / Funk / R&B - sort of Otis Redding. They were fantastic live - way better than their studio stuff, had tons of energy and the sound was perfect. If you get a chance to see them, do it!

Check out these songs:
Lady You Shot Me

Prisoner

Sweet Spirit
Another band that puts on a great show. They share members with another Austin band, A Giant Dog (also very good!). I caught this band twice during the festival. I'm not sure who I'd compare them...maybe Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Their only LP, Cokomo is very good.

Take Me To A Party

Overall, it was a great festival as always!

The resemblance is striking! It was pretty funny to see this little short and stocky bald guy get up there and just blow everyone away with his voice.
