If you're a country music fan do yourself a favor and listen to this album. Love that Honky Tonk sound

+1 it is an awesome album

Here is a taste: LINK

I heard an interview with him on Sirius the other day, and he said he wrote those two songs in about an hour right before a studio session. Sturgill is a great songwriter and has an unbelievably soulful voice. It is a must listen for traditional country fans.

The storm is, to my ears at least, the best country song I've heard in a long long time.

I can't remember the last time I heard a ballad that hit you like that.

I've been listening to this today and it's great. It's hard to beat good country music. But, I prefer this version of Life Ain't Fair.

I heard a mere fragment of the song, yet it was everything country music is supposed to be: simple, realistic, and to-the-point. It was scuffed up, unruly, and had hair on it. It worked in a factory and couldn’t afford college. But most of all, it was memorable. I could hum it when it was over.

And I'd be lying if I said that "Hero" hasn't damn near brought me to tears more than once in the past couple weeks

Country 101.....not bad but I think after hearing 2 or 3 songs I'd lose interest.
