Bringing it full circle, stoniest band I've heard the last few weeks....what's the word on Sheavy? Only listened to The Electric Sleep and it blew my mind....does the rest of their stuff kick this much arse?

It don't get more stoner or psychedelia than this!

I know nothing else about this other than what you just posted. Sounds like Ozzy singing

Will be a hel of a show I am sure.

There was a thread about it and a few people hinted at going.

I have seen Mastodon once in HOB back in 2007 or 2008 after Crack the Skye was released... one of the best shows ever.

Kylesa played before them and blew the doors off

Damn, I was at that show. I'm pretty sure my life peaked when they played Hearts Alive in its entirety.

I would kill to go to Mastodon and COC on Halloween, but I'm not going to be in the area.

Very very much.... my buddies and I were upstairs on the edge of the balcony looking down with nothing in front of us( VIPs for HOB didn't bother showing so no one was in front)

I still hear Hearts Alive in my brain right now from that night... I believe footage of that show is on Youtube...

I listened to the songs they've released the last few weeks and they were all terrible. Never bothered to listen to the whole album. Really don't like this new direction they're going. Wasn't a big fan of the last album either.

Also, new Panopticon track released with pre order for the new album:

This thread isn't really the Doom thread, but oh well. Stoner/Sludge are close enough.

Heard this song the other day, and immediately thought of this thread.

It may or may not fit right in?

I've been on the scandinavian kick for the last few months. They are easily putting out the best stuff currently IMO. The instrumental bands are killing it. I typically just put this stuff on as background it flows so smooth.

Causa Sui - Euporie

Causa Sui - Summer Sessions

Papir - IIII

Papir - Monday
