Anyone else digging these guys?

They are 6 guys from the Muscle Shoals area with a sort of newer Otis Redding sound--fantastic stuff.

The album is titled "Half the City"

Great band. I have the album and saw them live once.

I think they are more from Birmingham area than Muscle Shoals.

Yup! They're also Fayetteville Roots Fest veterans. Great band.

Saw them at Wakarusa. I didn't know what to expect but they had a pretty good sound. I would go see them again.

I'm a fan. Saw them at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC back in March. Good show.

They're pretty good, singer is real good but a little over the top. They do have a "Stax Sound" but no one should ever be compared to Otis Redding

Dude has amazing pipes. I wish they would get a little funkier at times, but that's just my personal preference.

I'd really like to see him sit in with some other big time bands sometime.

Yeah they definitely could use a little more funk to their sound. I think they could pull it off.
