I'd like to see them. I've got some $10 reproductions framed up in my studio.

Sweet gravity bong.

There are some cool posters in there. I love the slightly crazed psychedelic side of the art in concert posters. It's like Salvadore Dali meets hippies.

how sick of a show would this have been?

Sad thing is for the life of me I don't recall who opened for Morphine the night I saw them. So many shows run together.

Have seen lots of good shows at Tips, from Pearl Jam, to Rebirth (of course), to Morphine, to Cowboy Junkies...goodness they run together.

Like, did I see Elliott Smith there or somewhere else...the Varsity? I think I saw Cracker at the Varsity too.

Shows are always better at clubs, for my money.

It doesn't seem like Tips gets the touring acts like it used to. They all go to HOB, which is a decent enough place, but at HOB, you can't sit out on the "neutral ground" on Napoleon and drink a beer and hear the show just as well as if you were inside because you're too cheap to want to pay bar prices and if the show is anytime between April and November it's damn hot when the place is packed like it was for Pearl Jam.
