I'm going with my father in law. I know very little about this band. What should I expect?

Deafness and human sacrifice.

I also saw where they play soccer at every stop. They played a friendly with ex Dallas FC players this week.

...and one of the, if not THE, best metal bassists alive--Steve Harris.

They will blow you away. Saw them 2 nights ago in Houston. Dudes are in their 60's and have the energy of 30 year olds.

I will be there in the 100 level. One of the greatest live bands ever. Expect at about 6 songs off the latest album. Thanks goodness those songs are actually great. About to head out now.

Saw them last year in Tulsa and they were still as great as ever. Seeing them next month in KC. Come back and tell us what you think. Also expect a lot of singing by the fans during the classic era anthems (NoTB, Hallowed, Fear & Trooper).

I'm seeing posts from fathers attending this concert with adult children. Iron Maiden has older fans but still attracts the young too

Right on. I'm seeing the same and can relate. I've been a Maiden fan (and metal head) for as long as I can remember, but I went with my Father in Law. I'm 36. Bucket list show for me.

I'm holding out hope that they will do a "farewell" type tour in a few years, but damn they're getting up there in age. The tour they are on now is massive. It began Feb '16 and doesn't end until next month. I think it's like 114 shows total. Unreal.

I was also at the Houston show Wednesday. They sounded as good as ever, and that's not easy considering Bruce's age, throat cancer, etc. I enjoyed it all, and I'm actually a fan of the new album, but I wish they could have done more 'oldies' considering how good Bruce sounds now. In another year or two, I question whether he'll be able to sing the classics. Plus at their age, you never know if one of the guys will have some sort of illness or issues that keep them from touring. Really glad I saw them. Excellent show.

Had not looked up the list yet. It is still a good list but Hallowed Be Thy Name is my favorite Maiden song. Wish they would have replaced it with Revelations.

Yeah, I would have liked to hear it also. Still a great set.
