I'm a big fan of his work with the cardinals and early whiskey town. I listen to cold roses and jacksonville city nights all the time. just listened to the Gimmie something good. I did not like it.

Can't wait.
Give me Something Good sounds a lot like Petty

I like it... not great, but an ready to hear it in the context of the whole record..
I've pretty much liked everything he's ever done (sans that metal record and 29)... but I've been hooked since I saw Faithless Street in Paradise records... it had a sticker on it that said something like "..for fans of Uncle Tupelo and Merle Haggard"
