I really enjoy his style. I heard his cover of "Wonderwall" and really enjoyed it. I spent 45 minutes on Rhapsody, sampling 20+ songs. I liked/loved every one of them.

Who else is a fan? Favorite songs?

My favorite singer/songwriter. "Love is Hell" is my favorite RA record, though I don't know if I'd recommend it for beginners. It's awfully dark.

I just go on Spotify and go to Ryan Adams and hit shuffle everyday. One of my all time favorites based on his song writing, ability to play multiple genres, and the sound of the songs.

ETA:

Heartbreaker, Love is Hell, Gold, and Easy Tiger are my fav albums

As others have suggested here, definitely check out his band from the 90s Whiskeytown. I love the song "16 Days." Some good acoustic versions of it on Spotify as well from his Live After Death Collection. Listening to Love Is Hell on vinyl right now. It is one of my favorite records I own. What a talented individual. See him in concert too a lot of his songs sound better live, as he does variations of the studio versions.

Had this thread a while back, may help in discovering some new songs.

Thanks for everybody's suggestions.

It appears, though, that I am late to the party.
