RIP

Released in 1968 (the same year as other pioneering country-rock efforts like The International Submarine Band's Safe At Home and The Byrds' Sweetheart Of The Rodeo) this underappreciated gem is, IMHO, The Everly Brothers' finest hour.

"Mama Tried"

"Less Of Me"

"Sing Me Back Home" -- the opening gospel snippet is from a radio show the Everlys' parents did in the early 1950s

This my favorite performance by The Everlys. Does anyone know this is a live vocal track. It appears so, but it so awesome I cannot believe it. Gone, gone, gone from hullabaloo
