His first record is Incredible. I think he's continued to regress ever since.

His music is good, but his shows are boring. He then complains when people are bored.

I was coming here to see if anyone brought up the show, holy shite what a snoozefest. Granted I only know of a couple of his songs and read about the boring shows after I had bought tickets, it was worse than expected. Saw some people bitching on facebook about the crowd being loud and disrespectful and embarrassing Lafayette, I didn't really notice anything that obnoxious but then again I fell asleep.

I heard people saying that today too. It was like a damn church in there. The usher was making more noise shushing people than the actual people whispering. Company selling booze sucked as well. A lot of people were leaving early.

I think that's a bad venue choice for Ray. Acadiana Center for the Arts would've been perfect, though I guess it is too small. Jason Isbell and St Paul and the Broken Bones both played there, though. Gotta know what you're getting into for a RL show, especially when it was being marketed as an intimate show
