Paragons. Anything produced on studio one by coxsone Dodd. Gladiators. Clinton fearon for new quality roots. U-roy. Dennis alcapone. Toots and the maytals. Itals. Sly and Robbie.

So many more. The most musical nation ever.

Dennis Brown is the crown prince.

Gregory Isaacs has one of the smoothest voices ever.

Black Uhuru had amazing harmonies.

Cliché, but quite literally anything Bob Marley. Stir It Up, Jammin, Is This Love, I Shot the Sheriff, No Woman, No Cry. Could You Be Loved is good, but some have argued it has a bit of a disco flavor to it.

I have spent a heck of a lot of $$$$$ lately on jamaican singles from the 60s-80s. has been expensive but so worth it.

Saw Lee Perry at Coachella. He had ounces of weed taped to his body. he is one of the most bizarre musical personalitie in history.

I recommend his biography People Funny Boy.
