i have listened to OK computer & KidA more times than i can count.

i just dont like them. i try and i try but i cant seem to 'get into' it.

maybe this is like some people saying cilantro and ginger taste like soap while i cant get enough on my tacos.

If you don't like OK Computer you won't like them.

The Bends and Pablo Honey are far more rock oriented and less experimental but Kid A and OKC are definitive radiohead.

There's one more album you should try listening to before writing them off, imo. "In Rainbows" is one of their GOAT albums and is, to me, Radiohead at their tightest and most concise in terms of song writing.

Different strokes man. Not for everyone.

I was pretty much hooked after the first listen of OK Computer.

I can see what you mean.

They are my favorite band, but I totally get why some people don't like them.

But like someone said, check out In Rainbows before completely writing them off. Especially the "from the basement" version. To me that was absolute perfection.

i'll give it a try.

the thing is..i'm pretty open to music. i dont really have one particular style i like and i *want* to like them (really liked their 'hits') but its not tickling the old brain receptors.

Another cool one to check out of you haven't seen it is the Scotch Mist video. Another In Rainbows version that includes Jigsaw Falling Into Place and Faust Arp, 2 tracks left off of the from the basement version.
