I'm going to replace the pick ups with EMG 81/85. The neck is so comfortable that rythyms just seem to come natural. I love using it.

I like the color.

I have one just like yours except back and a white studio. My black one I love because of the neck (feels fantastic) and not so much for my studio piece. Never had been comfortable with the neck or how it felt.

Is that a Gibson or a knockoff? I have a Hamer that looks EXACTLY like it.

After about an hour, I wish it was as light as a knock off.

Eta

I may leave that guitar alone, I do like the way it sounds. May go for an ESP LTD instead.

I use a thunderbird when playing bass. Ampeg amp.

I love the 4001, growing up and getting into music, I was 12 and my best friend 's older brother had a rick 4001, and was doing a bunch of cliff Burton stuff on such a loud amp. Blew me away.

Yeah, so smooth and beautiful sounding. I've never gotten away from it.

Model and colors are correct, but I have deeper shell sizes. Paiste signature series cymbals all around.

I'm going to be setting the set up that I used as a late teenager later this week. I'm needing to change all the heads. I usually go with remo hydraulic, zildjian cymbals and 5a nylon tip sticks.

I took lessons on a set of exports. Hydraulic heads? Playing mostly hard rock or metal?

Yeah, blackened death metal. It's a double bass 8 piece, I started with guitar but when I started taking music seriously, I got a 5 piece pearl set. Then went back to guitar and took that serious too.

I don't even play an instrument but I love threads like these. You can just tell a friggin legit instrument when you see one.
