Their latest album is very underrated, imo.

WOW. I wish I could come down for this. Saw them last year in Dallas & they were incredible. I never thought Paz would make me forget about Kim Deal but she actually did.

The Civic has been getting some pretty great shows. Whoever is booking bands needs a bonus.

They should have the funds to do that, since it looks like tickets are $65 a pop.

it's $60 (fees added) in charleston.

LINK

$64 in charlotte LINK

$73 (fees added) in nola LINK

why is nola more expensive? The civic still has terrible sound according to friends who saw one of the recent shows there.

ETA: I love the pixies, but it's not worth it to me to see them live again for that price. I love primus as well, but i'm not seeing them in nola either.

NYC is expensive because the cost of living is so high

what's nola's excuse?

have fun at the show. when kim left, that was the end of that band IMO

What size are the venues in those other cities? Civic is 1100 capacity. Maybe they can sell more tickets in those other places.

this matters of course as to how $ is negotiated... but what if the venues are of equal size?

I just like $70+ for the pixies is too much. oh well.
