OT Musicians/Live performers!!! recommended microphone?

I use this one
and don't know microphones all that well. It was given to me for free anyway but, I'm ready to explore different options.
What do y'all use?? Maybe school me on this?

Sm58 is a solid choice for any application. I personally use a pg58 because I like the on/off switch because when I play drums I can have a little control over the mic when I'm not singing. IMO, if you aren't looking to tour arenas, SM58's will give you solid performance night in and out.

I always preferred the Audix OM-5 to the Shure SM58 in the same price range.

Good microphone. Tough and reliable.
