whole heartedly agree. I have a feeling "Burn the Witch" is going to be the 4th or 5th best track on the album.

Yep. Just more crappy nonsense from probably the most overrated act of all time.

Overrated by who, exactly? Everyone? They're one of the most critically acclaimed groups ever, have longevity and are constantly altering their sound. I'd say they are properly rated. Sounds like you just don't personally like them

Still ridiculous to this day.

Listened to it last night all the way through for the first time in a while.

Still amazing.

OK Computer, KId A, In Rainbows and the Bends are all masterpieces.

You can make a case for any of these as their best.

I think you answered your own question. The "critics" love Radiohead. To me, they're akin to nails on a chalkboard, especially with that whiny arse singer.

I passively listened to Burn the Witch only once on my crappy phone speakers because I'm at work, but I kind of felt like I heard a little Planet Telex in the new song.

I like it. It's soothing and creepy all at once. It's like a movie score going on.

Right. The very definition of over-rated.

Judging the quality of a Radiohead song outside of the fabric of the album is a useless exercise.

I'll wait until the album drops. Song was better than anything on KoL so i'm already happy about that at least

So critics are overrating Radiohead according to you, the guy that thinks they're akin to one of the most unpleasant sounds on Earth. I'd say the likelihood of you and the other guy in this thread underrating them is substantial higher than thousands of critics and millions of fans overrating them.

I think this is pretty good.

I like that creepy horn sound rolling along in the background in the beginning.

I get that Radiohead is not for everyone.

But the fact that you think they are so overrated tells me you taste in music is about as bad as your opinions on the PB.

finally listened to it on headphones instead of shitty phone speakers. This is pretty good stuff.

There is a lot happening here.

I either have to play music with headphones on (best way), on some loud speakers, or loud in my vehicle.

Only way.
