At 78 he still gets the panties wet.

I just saw him live, he had 40 something's-20 something's throwing themselves at him

It's a shame no one got to see him play the piano, but he still puts on a hell of a show.

Living legend, Mickey Gilley. If you ever saw him play you know what I mean.

He has had some serious health issues. ..can't recall exactly what it was. But it is a miracle he can still get out there and sing.

Yeah, he fell a few years back and broke some vertebrae and was in a wheelchair, but he's recovered relatively well.

Good to see him see him still touring and performing still.

Mackey Gilley is my 3rd cousin on my mom's side. Mom got to meet him in person last year in Branson for the first time and they talked about some relatives they each knew that connected them.

I saw him play piano, at his bar in Houston, not a big fan, but I agree he is a good 'showman', he know's what he's doing.
