It damn well better be. No one compares to TOOL for me. They're simply on another level than any other band out there. Having said that, they're pissing off a lot of fans with this 11 years without an album shite. I have no doubt it'll be amazing, but they seem to be dragging it out.

I don't care if it takes 20 years, as long as it's not 10,000 Days 2.

I do not share your opinion, and I doubt many do.

Agreed.

Top quaility across the entire band.

Best albums top to bottom. From the beginning to the end.

ETA. Hopefully till the end if their next album ever comes out.

I can't believe it's been 11 years since the last new tool album.

That also shows you how strong the band is. Anyone else waits 11 years between a new release and the world stops giving a frick a long time ago.

Though, if they wait much longer they have to be getting close to that territory. I saw them 5 times between 2001 and 2002 and to this day (minus the radiohead NOLA show in 2003) they are still my favorite shows of all time.

Awesome. Now you can complain about new things when they come back to town.

Yeah, if you don't think Rosetta Stoned is one of their greatest most agressive songs, then I'll assume you're just stuck in 1990s a lot like many Metallica fans from the 80s will never accept anything beyond the black album.

Rosetta Stoned is easily their greatest song achievement which makes 10,000 Days worth it.

Pants: ON [OFF]

It probably will take to late 2018 or 2019, too.

Tool's most masterful song was the title track of Lateralus - probably the finest heavy song of the 21st Century.
