saw him live, probably 10 years ago, in Atlanta. He was opening up for Gavin DeGraw and Maroon 5 at the time. Absolutely stole the show. Honestly, I think the dude has a better voice live than on recordings. Haven't listened to a whole lot of his stuff over the years, but always enjoy him when I hear it.

Gavin's Song

Never noticed the story behind this video

quote:

Marc Broussard AFTER a full concert at Pearl River Community college..there was like 10 of us around as stage was being torn down. He sang Gavin's song for pregnant woman there since he didnt play during concert...HOW AWESOME AND KIND WAS THAT?!?! He played Gavin's Song and then proceeded to go the extra mile and sing Evangeline Rose, AND then surprised us all and sang the new song that he just wrote for his middle son Gibbie, but out of respect for Marc...that one will stay on my computer until he releases it to public on CD first.

This has always been one of his more impactful songs, to me.

This dude is the most effortless, gifted singer.

His soul, talent, power, all is unparalleled in this style of music. It's a shame he has never blown up. Been a huge fan of his for like 12 years

Saw him at Galliger's in front of USL before he released carencro. One of my favorites. His version of Harry Hippie is better than the original

Got into him recently. Inner city blues, lonely night in Georgia, love and happiness, come in from the cold, etc. are all great songs. He has an amazing voice.
