Lyrics to Weird Al's "Year of the Fat"

Background: Love the song. The album cover has always given me a "weird" vibe - can't explain it. The person in the fat suit is surreal.

Anyway, just discovered there has been quite a bit of debate about the meaning of the lyrics. A lot of people seem to think it's a song about food addiction.

A line in the song: "she comes out with a bun and big dress running" Supposedly has something to do with fat woman with an empty hot dog bun.

"Year of the Fat" is used to describe a "fat free" period in some Asian cultures from what I've read, oddly enough.

Feel free to chime in. I honestly have no idea if it's about food addiction or a guy who meets a woman in a big dress with a hot dog bun. Doesn't matter in the long run I suppose but it's interesting to think about.
