I'm really just tired of seeing Cobain in any of the Greatest Guitarist of All Time lists. I see it way too often, and he has no business in any of them.

I really feel like Cobain would've eventually wanted to stop. Maybe do solo albums or more art type things. My opinion was there was always a lot of pressure on him and that was too much to take.

IMO - Phish is better than the Beatles all things considered.

It's hard too say. They could've easily fallen off like RHCP and others bands like that. His death made them that much bigger. But they were great when they are around. Sad to see the drummer spin off and make the abortion of a band that is the Foo Fighters

Part of what made Nirvana so big was Cobain's death, so no.

Also Cobain was taking Nirvana's music in a direction that was less palatable for the majority of people than Nevermind was.

And its silly to think anybody could have or will ever be bigger than The Beatles. They'll win every time simply because they got the benefit of being around when mass media began with every house having a television so they had more exposure and less competition than anybody else ever will

Pearl Jam was at least as big as Nirvana at the time Kurt killed himself, if not bigger. And they aren't what I'd call the biggest thing ever.
