Kamelot fans? What is your opinion on the new singer?

Tommy Karavik got the gig as the new singer for the album "Haven" in 2015 which I personally think is their best album to date. I think he brings a certain...more modern sound to the band. The previous singer had more of an 80s hair metal vibe to his voice and I just had to bear it growing up with them.
Production quality was a lot better on this album too.

To my ears, Tommy sounds like he's trying hard to imitate Khan's style of singing, which was very powerful and emotional. He's an excellent replacement, but for me, Kamelot peaked in the early 2000's with Karma and Epica. Still a solid power metal band.
