I'm looking to take a little break from JB and the Boys to concentrate more on Jimmy's other stuff.

He's head and shoulders above every person in that band. Incredible guitar player

Well in Panic's defense, he'd be head and shoulders above every person in most bands.

He's a great player, and seems like a genuinely good dude.

Even JB admitted in an interview back in 06 that he had to break out a chord book when Jimmy joined the band.

Jimmy Herring Band - Within You Without You Beatles Cover. Love how saturated his tone is with the reverb here.

Jimmy Herring Band - Since I've Been Loving You

Jimmy Herring Band - No Quarter

Jimmy Herring Band - Matt's Funk

One of my favorite Jim bob pics.

I don't have a link handy, but there is a recent ARU concert on youtube that features John Maclaughlin sitting in for a few tunes. It's fairly amazing if you are into guitar slingers.

JM is one of Jimmy's big influences and you can see he's really appreciates it.
