Honestly, there is nothing but speed in that video. His playing basically has no emotion to it. He also neglects his toms for extremely long stretches and seems to only use them for fills.

Could watch Steve Jordan all day.

anotjer drummer I really like is Darren King of mutemath. Don't listen to the band much but I when you watch live videos of them, or see them live, you end up watching him most of the time. No unnecessary fills, tons of emotion... that guy makes the band worth seeing

Matt Halpern and Matt Garstka are the best imo.

He really is an incredible drummer. His resume is impressive, as well; traditional jazz, jazz fusion, pop, Latin, rock and even metal (drummer on Megadeth's "The System Has Failed" album).

It's not just that he's able to shift gears and play all these different genres, it's that he plays them masterfully well.

You spelled Bill Bruford's name wrong.

Another master, yes. I'd forgotten that he was also included in one the Buddy Rich tribute projects with Buddy's band...

Not really into that kind of music, but if i'm going to watch someone play blast beats it will be Navene Koperweis or Alex Rudinger

Another on of my top 5 drummers. Not really as much of a groove type drummer except in some parts of the Good Tiger album.

What is "all" here? That was pretty rough.
