What could be better than Garth Brooks??? Just about anyone in the history of civilization that has produced a musical note, by way of instrument or voice. Fake country music sucks.

I like Garth Brooks but he isn't in the same league as the Beatles, Stones, Led Zeppelin etc. Those British groups of the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties are some of the most talented musicians to have ever lived, in my opinion. Very creative. Groundbreaking. I don't think Garth was a pioneer in country music. He followed a standard country sound. He added a little rock and roll to it so in that way he probably pioneered country rock I guess. But as a musician and songwriter I don't feel he is on the level of those other musicians.

Ok, the Beatles I can maybe give you but the Stones and Zeppelin weren't doing anything revolutionary either. In fact, the Stones are one of the most overrated bands imo. Zeppelin had some of the best songwriting ever in the music industry to go with a lead singer unlike any other. Garth Brooks most certainly revolutionized country music. He had some incredibly written songs that kind of strayed away from the hokey rocking chair on a porch kind of country music. He also showed the rest of the country world that you could put on a show to go along with your music. After seeing him this weekend I still think he's one of the best ever. Songs like Much Too Young and The Dance still hold up. He's #2 in sales behind The Beatles for a reason.

The Beatles were definitely revolutionary. They pretty much shaped modern day music. However, their greatness wasn't realized until after they were popular. A lot of people back then thought of them like many think of One Direction today.

He doesn't even write most of his music. Get the frick out of here. He put's on an entertaining show for people who don't see a lot of live music.

But he has a ton that he has written and the list isn't very long for artists that put on a more energetic and fun show.

I honestly feel bad for someone who would even consider Garth Brooks in the top 1000 (one thousand) recording artists ever. Sad. There is too much good music out there to waste your time listening to that absolute crap.

Look, you like the music and that's good. As long as you enjoyed it that's awesome.

But let's not try to make it something it's not. It's simple music for people who like incredibly simple music. You aren't going to see Garth Brooks to see a masterclass in musicianship.

I'm glad you and everyone else at the SmoothieKing Center had a good time, but most of those people probably see one live concert every other year.

The more music you listen to and see, the more you understand that there isn't anything close to being a GOAT. And if there was, it sure as shite wouldn't be Garth Brooks.

Lol... Garth is part of the reason country music is so fricked up today.

He's not even one of the greatest country artists of all-time.

He is fat, bald, wears dumb shirts, sings with one of those dorky clip on mics... only thing he is GOAT is being liked by a lot of idiots.
