Possibly, but their genre of music wasn't exactly known for great lyrics. If something has a great hook and melody, most people don't care about the lyrics. All you have to do is look at the Billboard 100 to see that.

It's always so amusing when folks with zero musical education show this to the rest of us. To begin with, about 2% of the singers in rock bands could pull off the vocals to those Foreigner songs. Guy had an amazing arse vocal range. Don't believe me....try singing along to some of it.
