Does anyone think or believe that Steve Perry would put aside his issues with the band (you think after all these years he could)and sing two songs on stage with them?

I would like to see this one more time but from what I have read is that Neil continues to reach out to Steve with no success.

I bet they will sing a few for old times sake. They are all getting pretty old, so it's now or never for them.

Hope so. I thought that KISS would do the same but...

Whatever is going on between Steve and Neil doesn't seem to be going away as many years have past.

This. There is no animosity with the band as far as I recall. I just think he had health issues and had to stop.

What about Blue Oyster Cult?

I'm still laughing about the time I stuck you with 34 pairs.

Before a veritable shite load of more deserving bands...I won't really care.

Every year that Iron Maiden is shunned makes it almost as pffftt as the Heisman Trophy

Maybe since Neil did some work with Santana again, he is in a mood of nostalgia. That's not to say NS was on the outs with Santana but they did recently work together.

I would love to see Steve on stage with them again. Frankly I don't think Steve cares to do that again. Maybe like Plant in a way. I did work with a guy who was a photographer on the Raised On Radio tour. He said that SP and NS couldn't stand each other on that tour. Arguments between those two and Cain were constant. he said he was amazed at how much hatred was exhibited during sound checks... but when the show was on, the show was on - all smiles and arms on each other.

See I read it's the other way around. According to Neil, SP is and has been invited to join them on stage anytime he wants. At least that is what Neil is saying.

I think this could be what is going on with SP. Certainly he doesn't need the money and may not even have a desire to do this stuff anymore.

He was suppose to release a new album this year but see how that worked out.
