LA times Concert Announced
Wish it was not all the way out in California but still awesome nonetheless. Saw the Stones last summer in Nashville and they were still as good as always.

Will be surprised if Dylan actually does this.

Its still impressive today, I would rather see them than 99% of current acts and Im sure a lot of people feel the same.

I probably would, too, instead of some of the shite that's out there. That doesn't blind me to the fact that two of the Who are dead, some of the Stones are dead or retired, Bob Dylan's voice can't have improved, etc.

All absolute legends. One day soon these guys are going to be dead like David Bowie and you are going to be thinking to myself "Damn I wish I would have gone to see those old creative geniuses back in 2016 before they all died". If I was able, I would be there in a heartbeat.

While appreciate the greatness of each of those musicians, I cannot thinking a single reason to go watch them perform NOW.

They are all near or past 70. If this was 20-30 years ago, yes the tickets would be priceless. But now...frick that

They seem a little creaky for you to see them now?

you'd rather them wheelchair out a bunch of geezer has-beens that haven't recorded a decent song in a good chunk of half a century than 99% of the other acts out there?

yeesh

i mean i guess it would be nice to hear some old songs but it won't be a very high energy affair. those dudes are OLD. Dylan is basically a skeleton now. He literally might die before this happens.

Yes, I have seen the Stones, McCartney, Fleetwood Mac, and Steely Dan over the last two years, they were all fantastic. McCartney was unbelievable, he had no opening act, and performed with out a break for 3 solid hours. The Stones where just as good as when I saw them in 1980.

Go watch the Stones performances from this last tour, its still a very high energy show, Mick hasnt skipped a beat. Young, Dylan and McCartney were never a high energy show in the first place. But if you want high energy there are plenty flavor of the month people you can watch stand behind a dj booth and pump out some nice and loud EDM.
I dont really care how old they get, I would just enjoy listening to some legends sing my favorite songs.

I assume you're joking, but one would be in straight up denial to think there won't be tons of hot poon around this type of gathering.

I think kick arse and wish they would go 3 bands deep each day -

add -

ABB (Trucks and Haynes would come back for one show for this one)

Clapton and his touring band (or Bruce and Ginger)

Santana and current touring band

Are people actually going to pay to hear Bob Dylan "sing"? Or just meander on stage?
