My brother is booked to play there in June. I have never heard of it and its out on Florida Blvd.

I've never been, but I've heard it's fantastic. Small, intimate not-for-profit listening room. All ticket sales, donations, etc. go straight to the artists. John Fullbright has mentioned more than once that it is his dream venue.
I went to school with the owner's kids, and they are a great family.

I hope to get my band booked there eventually. It seems like a great venue for musicians who want to play for people who really have a passion for original music.

I'll tell you once we have a few more gigs under our belt and start to suck less

Its pretty cool. It's BYOB and there's a bunch of random chairs and couches. Only sits about 75 people.
If you can go see Peter Rowan, GO. I've seen a bunch of really good acts there: Ray Wylie hubbard, Randal Bramblett, Kristin Diablo, Spencer Bohren, Jimmy Lefevbre

My favorite venue in baton rouge by far

Sounds like a good place. I didn't know anything on Florida could be good.

You're wrong, there's plenty of good on Florida:
Zeagler's is the best music store in Baton Rouge (Perfect Guitar is second because it ignores wind instruments)
Guitar Center is there
Ronnie's Boudin
La Marinita
the good Podnuh's
Montalbano's

I'll add Thai Pepper, West Marine, and all the good Viet restaurants

Good addition
Also, Schlitz n Giggles, Poor Boy Loyd's, and the Blues Room downtown.
