Didn't see these guys on anybody's Album of the Year list but I think it's up there. Saw they were mentioned in Garden & Gun's latest issue as a "Buried Treasure" best album 2013... I concur.

Saw them at Gasa Gasa in New Orleans a couple of months ago. They were awesome. It was a great show but the venue was too small. They outplayed that space. It's a great album, start to finish.

I was at that show too. Definitely a good time. They're album is awesome though. Easily one of my favorites this year.

Houndmouth is without a doubt one of the best new bands out there.
Saw one of their very first shows in Louisville a couple years ago. Very good band. It's no surprise they're very much under the radar.

Stature growing though, just saw they had a massive media push from Eater over the last few weeks. Must admit, that is how I discovered them, but a good band nonetheless.
