Do NOT sleep on Benjamin Booker or Houndmouth. Wish Houndmouth and THS were different times. CANNOT WAIT!

yeah, I like Houndmouth... but they will lose to THS, for me, each and every time...

disclaimer: if it rains, I'm out...

I plan on being there. Didn't see anything else happening this weekend that would drag me away.

I'm going for the first time on Saturday. Can I just buy a ticket there? Or does this event have limited tickets (which I doubt)?

Thanks. For whatever reason I've never really had interest in going (i guess I'm festival-ed out) but it's probably the best thing to do on a nice Saturday.

I'm still feeling those bath salts..

for real though, the appeal of all these festivals like Po Boy Fest and FQ fest has diminished considerably for me. They've gotten so big you can barely move, and the attractions aren't worth the hassle. I'd rather save my energy for Jazz Fest and go all out.

Well those are probably the worst because they are free.

I agree though. Music festivals have definitely become over-saturated throughout the years on a local, regional, national, and even global level.

Definitely true. I like this one cause there is plenty of room to move around and lots to see/eat.

But in terms of bigger festivals there really has to be something special about it that makes it somewhat different from everything else to get me to go.

All in - and, for those coming in from out of town, and staying till Sunday, Super Sunday (Mardi Gras Indians) is March 30.
