Link to discussion on the Movie/TV Board-- HERE

Awesome 4-part documentary from this past week chronicling the careers of Producer/Music Mogul Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre--their individual careers and their relationships business and personal. Branched into other artists' stories like Eminem, Marilyn Manson, Trent Reznor and NIN, Springsteen, John Lennon, etc, etc.

Well worth the time--you can stream all four episodes.

I thought it was great.

Loved the early Easy E footage. The Dre/M&M meeting. Snoop stories.

It turned into a beats advertisement at some point, could've done without 20 minutes of that but overall very good.

It's decent. The editing is really odd so the narrative is kind of wonky. Apple bought the rights to shitty headphones for a fricking fortune.

It would have been hilarious if Apple cancelled the deal after tyrese's dumbass Facebook video.

I thought the funniest part of the documentary was snoop dogg's assessment of the situation.

marshall mathers throwing down those rhymes over dre's beats on the spot in dre's studio hours after they met on the fly when he was probably nervous as shite was really cool too

even if that's your deal, gotta respect that
