Have you ever been to Gruene Hall in Texas?

This is a great place, small venue, to listen to music. Good place to go swing dancing too. Sometimes, I'll go down with friends and check out some musician or band we've never heard of.

Going to go see Sean McConnell and maybe Micky and the Motor Cars later this year. Saw Junior Brown most recently.

If you've been there, did you like it?

Been there plenty of times. It's a TX landmark.

Great venue. Be sure to grab some food at the Gristmill.

Gristmill is one of the few places where I'll eat a chicken friend steak.

That's what I had last time. I'd highly recommend it.

I've been to it during the day, but going for a concert is on my bucket list.

I've seen quite a few shows there. I love to go. Junior Brown is definitely an off the wall kind of musician, but I like his work and he puts on a good show.

Seen a few shows there, including the late Ray Price who told some folks in the front row to sit down so others could see.

Go in warm weather and enjoy the whole day with an innertube float on the Guadaloupe... there are rentals all over. The area is known for it's sausage, even if you just get some to take home. Good venue...Fun place.

I went there once in the mid 90's and saw Jerry Jeff Walker. The experience was everything I'd hoped it would be.

I've caught a few shows there late 80's early 90's. Asleep at the Wheel is a must see there.

It's fantastic as is Whitewater Amphitheatre. It's further up river outside of the city limits. You can either get a ticket for a show or sit in your tube on the river and listen out there.

Also if you tube the river up closer to Canyon Lake, there are no restrictions on the amount you can carry in a cooler on the river - there is in New Braunfels city limits. The water released from the lake is from the bottom of the lake and good and cold - great for the hot summer months. Just a friendly tip from 'ol CC

Been once and did not go in. Cover was high and we walked around the side to see what the act was that night.

3 Women standing there doing Andrews Sisters type stuff from the 1940's.

I was pissed.

Was the only time I was not hammered from floating the river in the day and could have enjoyed it.

Been to 20-30 shows there. It's a must go if you're a Texas music fan.

One of my favorite concerts of all time was there. Emory Quinn and their live album.

I've never been, but I wore out the cassette Live at Gruene Hall.

That version of Man in the Big Hat is one of my all time favorites.

Fiancé and I caught Trombone Shorty there the night after we got engaged. It's an awesome venue, and I highly recommend any music lover catching a show there.
