I came across a CD my father had given to me many years ago. Together at the Bluebird Cafe with Townes van Zandt, Guy Clark, and Steve Earl. Wonderful recording. This got me to dive a little deeper into Guy's catalogue.

Dublin Blues and Immigrant Eyes are absolutely masterful pieces of songwriting.

Glad I got to see him before he stopped touring. Amazing songwriter and one of my favorite country artists.

Did not know he stopped touring. Great artist.

I'm a Dale Watson and also a Rodney Crowell fan. Great musicians and songwriters.

One of the best ever...got to see him at Jazz Fest years ago, and also at the Dosey Doe here in Houston. That was an awesome chance to see him up close in a small venue.

Def one of the greats. I'm a huge Townes Van Zandt fan, and I discovered Clark as I was digging into Townes' work. You may also like Blaze Foley, who was another one of these great Texas singer/songwriters. Unfortunately, he was taken from us much too soon, but he did leave behind some good heartfelt tunes.
