GOAT entertainer, especially for his age. I watched George Straights farewell concert on dvd and dude just stands there for 3 hours. Garth is constantly moving pumping the crowd up.

Saw him in ATL 2 years ago when the world tour just started with Trisha. me and a guy bought our tickets at the same time but separately because they told us it was GE. we wound up on separate parts of the stadium and took them to the booth at the show. they confirmed we bought them minutes apart and gave us 2 seats together 15 rows up from the stage.

So glad I went. Nothing will ever top that. Should definitely be a bucket list item for everyone alive.

Just dropped $625 for 3 floor seats for his show at the new Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta.

Ive never paid that much for Garth tickets, and Ive seen him 4 times in the past 3 years.

For those that went last weekend, do you recall what the ticket market looked like outside the arena prior to the show? Thinking about making the trip from BR to Fridays show without tickets. Just curious if there were a decent amount of tickets being sold around the cajundome.

I went Sunday night and didn't see anyone selling outside the arena. Went in about an hour early, fwiw. I've seen several on Facebook since last week though. That may be your best option.

I saw Garth years ago in Shreveport at the fair. I couldn't remember what year it was until I found this on the web.

quote:

Thursday, October 25 LOUISIANA STATE FAIR: Features Garth Brooks at 7 p.m. Site: Hirsch Coliseum, Louisiana State Fair Grounds. Admission: $6, includes fair's adult gate entry.

It was a damn good concert and I guarantee beers weren't $17 a piece.

He went on at 8:20, show ended at 10:55. Stay until the house lights come on, a bunch of people missed the last 20min. Not a big Garth fan but he absolutely killed it.

Yeah he was probably the best concert I've ever seen as well.

FWIW, the $17 beers are 24 ounces. No denying it is incredibly steep, but at least they're not giving you a 16 ounce or something.

17 a beer? Were they at least 24 oz? Last time I went to the Superdome it was $9 and if I remember correctly it was 16oz. Ridiculous.

So the doors open at 7:30 or that's when he goes on? Trying to decide when to get there.

$17 for 24oz draft, they can gtfo with that. We brought in plastic flask, security was only checking purses/bags. They have 16oz cans for 9.75 at some of the beer only booths.
