For the EDM folks - Thoughts on Benny Benassi

What's the board's general consensus on him?
He seems to be going the more pop route, like Guetta, but I still mostly like his stuff. His last album(I think) with cinema and control on it was pretty decent imo.
I really like his older stuff though; mid-2000's, Benassi Bros.
I'm relatively new to the EDM world, so I was looking for some similar stuff.

ive seen him a few times and he put on a good show. not someone i would go out of my way to see though.

my thoughts on him would be the same i have on the bands that "go pop".
sure you'll hit a big payday, but when the fairweather fans have had enough of you, you'll have already lost your true fan base and you'll be left with no base.
but... i guess if you want a big payday, then retire... its the perfect plan.

like the other poster said, can't really blame them. at least if they're trying to make as much money as possible
tbh, i like most of the pop stuff they make anyway, so i'll probably listen to it
