I saw FF at Citi Field this week. Broken leg and all, it was one of the coolest shows I ever seen. There is no force mightier than Rock 'n' Roll.

Who else? How were they?

I have never seen them in concert, I would love to one day, tried to get tickets when they played at house of blues last year, but no luck

They put on a great show. Dave Grohl has great respect for rock history and has always been open to performing with and learning from his influences. I saw a video of him jamming with Paul McCartney somewhere recently and they both looked like they were having a blast. Would love to see them again sometime. House of Blues in NO would have been an awesome setting.

I saw that one. Funny thing was, my wife (then girlfriend) was there with us; her and her friend decided that the crowd was too rowdy and spent the entire show drinking in the bar at the entrance. NOW, she's a bigger Foo Fighters fan than I am and still has never seen them live.

She even skipped it when they played the Endfest a couple years later. That period was the best for them IMO. Now they seem a little too adult/AOR for my taste. They were a killing machine back in the 90s.

Spearhead opened...

They don't really do it for me at all now, but every now and then I hear a song that I don't mind... I only own that first record..

I don't really remember anything specific or memorable about that show... hard to believe its been 20 years ago..

I had to see them a couple times at Hangout and it just wasn't good at all. Grohl just bellowing out generic arena rock noise. He's obviously doing something right though. They are extremely successful and have a huge following, but I don't "get" it.

Watched them last night at Fenway. Anyone who doesn't enjoy them live is not someone I want to associate with. Such a great show.

I've seen them six times and they've never disappointed.

The wife and I were at HoB in NOLA last November for the Sonic Highways episode. We were right down in front and we agree that it's the best rock show we've ever experienced...

Saw them at Voodoo. I have never really been big into them aside from a few songs. Let me tell you, it was the best concert I have ever been to.

They opened for the RHCP when I saw them. I was not a fan of theirs before but that changed after the show. They blew the RHCP away too.....great live show.

He always posts that generic arena rock shite. I don't think he has even heard Foo Fighters. Such a bad troll.

I used to love Foo Fighters until they cancelled their set at Voodoo '05 after Katrina to instead play a Tsunami benefit. Such BS and I have never thought of them the same way since.

Grohl probably figured there would be more cameras at the tsunami event.
