They need to hurry up and announce the Nashville make up date.

Bridgestone is one of the busiest arenas in the country, but the other shows they had to cancel were all rescheduled almost immediately.

Wondering if they will actually play voodoo this weekend after canceling shows due to family emergency...

Took my wife to see them in Birmingham last night. I know it’s cool and popular to hate on them, but whatevs. They put on a great show. Played right at 3 hours. Would see again.

Went to the show in The Woodlands. Wife gets free tickets and we live very close, so I usually go to any show I have time to. Dont hate them, but was never a super fan or anything. Dave Grohl has some great live concert energy. They put on a show and have a lot of hits. Only problem is we bring our young son (If we got a sitter every show, we'd be broke, and we put on ear muffs and he loves watching shows). For a band that doesn't really have explicit lyrics, dave drops some F bombs, Haha. But it's a rock concert and I'm the one bringing a child, so I'm not complaining.

The Struts are opening & they are great. Saw Foo's at Voodoo this past October. No complaints. Good show. I am actually glad I didn't get tickets for the sold out show tonight in Dallas. It is supposed to rain all afternoon into the night & the show is outside at Starplex.

I did not particularly care for The Struts.

But, they did their job.

The chain resturant of "rock" bands. Feel bad for people who enjoy this crap.

My God that was great. Sunday Rain sounds so much better live, and it's already my favorite new song.

We were on the lawn last night. We went prepared so the rain wasn't too bad. Gonna be on the floor for the bossier show. I hope they bring half the energy they had last night.

Should be fine. I've been getting a couple emails about tickets being available the last couple weeks.

I think what u really mean is you are envious that you can't enjoy anything in life.

Why would you feel bad for us for having a good time? Is being miserable somehow more enjoyable?

I absolutely can't stand heavy metal or jazz, but I would never feel bad for someone that does

Oh, hell yes, it’s a good tune. FYI, Paul McCartney played drums on the recording of that tune.

We were on the lawn too. Dead-nuts centerstage in the front. Our little $4 ponchos and nylon tarp did their jobs.

We were to the right of you. Spent too long in the merch line to get center. We're on the floor tonight though. Pretty excited for this. I met my wife at a Foo show in Little Rock in 2011. Last night was our first foo show since then. We were originally just going to this one but I figured what the hell and got Dallas tickets too. Welllllll worth it. Nobody puts more into a show than Dave and Co.

You’re a drummer too, aren’t you? Seems like we’ve commented in a few of the drum-related threads on the MB.

Sweet. Tonight will be our 8th!

Agreed. You guys will have a better spot than us tonight. We’re in Sec. 105 on Pat’s side. We knew we’d want seats though, after standing for 5 hours last night.
