Excited like a kid with a new bike Christmas morning ... headed to Floyd, VA end of July for 3 nights of music, camping and festival-ling in the mountains

Greensky Bluegrass, Wood Brothers, Leftover Salmon, Keller Williams, Anders, Warren Haynes, Greg Allman + 40-ish more bands.

And a good time was had by all. Well, actually I went by myself.

I missed Keller. Gregg Allman was a no-show.

Evidently Anders appeared at this fest last year and the folks loved him. He rocked it.

Leftover Salmon was after my bed time both nights .. though I could listen to them from my tent.

Greensky Bluegrass was enjoyable, Wood Brothers very enjoyable.

Los Colognes is better recorded than live.

Dustbowl Revival ... excellent. check this group out for fun.

Legendary Shack Shakers ... awesome, very high energy.

Bruce Hornsby band-member gave shout out to Keith Hornsby for signing with Dallas Mavericks. No mention of the Tigers. Hornsby did jam with Greensky Bluegrass.

No shocker there.

What was the temp in the mountains?

a little on the warm side ... low 80's, not grueling like Louisiana, but slightly cooler would have been nice.
