New Beginnings is an excellent album. Her performance on Austin City Limits is one of my favorites.

That whole debut album is great. Talkin Bout a Revolution is pretty outstanding as well.

Pretty funny listening to the whippersnappers saying they thought she was a man.
When her debut album came out, she was a BIG deal. Probably the biggest of the year. There was no way to know she wasn´t female.
