I'm curious because they were one of the first West Coast bands I ever listened to.

Their first album entitled The West Coast Experimental Pop Band Part One had some great songs like Shifting sands, Leiyla, Will you walk with me and Help, I'm a rock.

Were you the guy that jumped the fence at the Dead show years ago?

I don't know much about them. They were one of several acts to record a great P.F. Sloan folk-rock song, but it was never a hit for anyone:

The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band - "Here's Where You Belong"

One of the members would later cut this sunshine pop classic:

Shaun Harris - "I'll Cry Out From My Grave"

It wasn't just a Dead show.

It was the 1970 Toronto Pop festival that was featured in the movie, Festival Express.

No, not at all. It directed was at kafka.

usually if someone starts a thread in this genre. or a non-phish live show, or Americana, he links his thread that started years ago and he keeps adding to it.

in all seriousness, they are good threads.

Since I'm not here very often, I didn't know that.

Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me.
