this is the first archival release by the owsley Stanley foundation from his "sonic journals" which are his archived live recordings from the 60's/70's/80's. Bear's recordings are reknowned for their clarity and authenticity to the room
there are very little available live recordings of doc and Merle in the 70's. 80 bucks for 4 nights of shows is a steal. if you like flat picking this is the shite
