Good job, LSUrme. I was to slow on the draw.
I just saw them last August with Incubus at Champions Square but it will be nice to see them indoors this go-around.

Yah - that sort of sucked being outdoors in the summer as openers. Glad to see a NOLA headlining show come back around in a new venue.

No idea, but from their FB posting stating that they cancelled the show it looks like they received a lot of backlash.

I would assume that's not the case. That was one incident and I think they knew they found an additional audience to bring in there.
I'm sure Civic will bring in more metal shows.

I would hope that's not the case, but considering the streak of artists they booked between last May and the canceled Down show, they have hardly no metal bands booked (aside from Nightwish) anytime soon.

It goes in waves. Plus, you're coming up on summer tours. A lot of bands will ride the summer festival circuit or a package tour.

Sure - as well as 2016. Past two albums have been solid and lots of excitement building for Gore.

Deftones have maintained longevity as well as any band from their era. Chino's voice has not faltered and they still kick arse live.

the band website has livenation codes listed, but the shows not popping up over there. havent seen any orpheum codes yet.
