...tonight at the Joy--night 2.

Rumor on the street is that our ginger phriend is going to play with them tonight.

Leaving in a few to catch the show.

No Trey...just the rumor mill.

Show was fantastic. The Joy just installed an entire new PA and sound system and they spared no expense. We got the lowdown on it as we spent some time talking with the sound guys. The sound in the Joy is second to none right now in New Orleans!

They did an early show--late '69 or early '70...I'm gonna find it in a little bit.

This band is REALLY good.

Just learned that they actually didn't do a complete show from the vaults like usual--they just played tunes from 1971 and before. Even the gear and guitars/bass were all vintage late '60's, which really gave the true sound of the Dead at that time.
