Full album is now streaming here. It comes out next week. I can't imagine how anyone could call themselves a rock fan and not like this band. This is their tenth album and just as great as anything they've ever done. Not many bands can put out consistently good albums for 20 years like these guys have.

Oh and they're playing at the HOB NOLA on May 14 with The Sword opening. Should be one of the best shows of the year.

Thanks. Will give it a listen.

ETA: Have listened to half of the album so far. It really is a pretty good album.

Thanks Broseph for the heads up. I am a big clutch fan. Their show late last year at HOB rocked. Although Prong as an opening act was pretty lame.

Damn good listen. Thanks Brosef.

Of course I was hoping they'd come through Jax again since the house was packed when they played here two years ago. But of course that was too much to hope for. This shite happens all the time!! Gonna have to head down to Lake Buena Vista if I'm gonna see em.

Concert road trips just aren't as easy when married with children.

I just saw these guys at SXSW. They were great and played some of the new stuff, and a lot of great old stuff from Blast Tyrant and Robot Hive.

Unto the breach

What would be a good Clutch album to go back and check out?

Robot Hive/Exodus is one of my top 3 albums of the 2000s so I'd say start there. Blast Tyrant, From Beale St to Oblivion, and The Elephant Riders are my other favorites of theirs.

They're allegedly playing at the Scoot Inn at some point today...I'm supposed to be going with a friend of mine. I'm excited to check them out, I've heard good things.

One of my favorites is the live @ 9:30 club. It's from their live DVD, they play the entire first album and a few others. My favorite studio album is Beale Street to Oblivion. But they're all good to me. I love this track off Beale Street: White's Ferry

Their sound has evolved greatly over the years but you CANNOT go wrong with their second release from 1995, which is self-titled.

Clutch -- Full Album

And if you happen to smoke weed then I would highly recommend it for this listen, especially the song "Spacegrass".

Enjoy!!

Two more good ones:

I agree about Blast Tyrant: Outstanding!!

Their very first release is damn good as well: Transnational Speedway League.

But... You HAVE to check out "Clutch" from '95!!!
