This show was mentioned in the Jamband for Newb thread, but felt it deserved its own body of work.
I'm really looking forward to seeing CRB tonight. Saw them at Varsity the last time they were around, and it was great. Those that saw the Tips show the night before said it was even better, so I think we are in for a good one.
Any music boarders going to see this show?
At the Varsity show last October, we got covers of Never Been to Spain and They Love Each Other....something along those lines for covers would be killer tonight, adding to their solid repertoire of tunes.
All in all, good opportunity to see one of the more recognizable voices in rock history at one of the best music venues in the world. Yes, the WORLD.

I'll be there, Casal and CR are a great combo good enough to overlook CR's dickish behavior for one night. Seen them like 3/4 times in the past couple years and they always put on a fun show.

Casal is really on top of his game. I listened to all the Fare Thee Well set break stuff he did....super groovy.

Correct. He's involved in some projects now that I really like. Glad to see him lay it down in Tips tonight.

Ive seen crb a bunch, one of my favorite bands. First set in br last fall was awesome.

Not even slightly, a barn burner for sure. After Midnight was a nice encore, and I swear I heard about a half dozen Dead teases/riffs in their jamming.
