I listen to all kinds of music, from classical to electronic.

I want something new that I haven't listened to - something off the beaten path but with some really good musicians. Some strong solos would be nice. Old or new, I don't care.

Been listening to Can "Saw Delight" and some of my Dad's jazz CD's.

I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

Tom Waits. Unless you are a simpleton.

Old blues stuff: Howlin' Wolf, T-Bone Walker, Muddy Waters would be a good start. You're not gonna hear any Duane Allman-type guitar solos here, but you will hear some flat out awesome guitarists, especially Walker and the Wolf.

Familiar with Kamakiriad - good song.

The Jiro Inagaki recommendation was perfect - good stuff (listening to it now)

I'd like to see them live - they are tearing it up around 1:40 (one hour, forty minutes)
